The Witcher 3, Death March! NNID/PSN: rpgamer13. User Info: KoreanKidd. KoreanKidd 5 years ago #8. (stun, stagger, freezing, etc), simply because a lot of enemies are immune to bleeding. The stun and stagger, I almost never see, but the freezing I have been able to use quite a bit. I'm playing on death march so I find bleeding a lot more. Best Runestones for Swords in Witcher 3 The art of combining runestones is something that comes only with experience. It very much depends on your build and the weapons you’re using. You will find that the combination of attack power and armor piercing works great for melee builds, while stun/stagger/freeze effects work best in sign builds. I think stun and stagger might be the same damn thing. I've gotten the stun effect (it displays the effect over your enemies head) and it's basically the same thing as Axii, causing the enemy to.
Witcher 3 Stun Vs Stagger 1
@punisherkaos: The game is not easy on Normal, the balance is just off and it gets easy to overlevel yourself later on.If you're still at the beginning it's normal to have a hard time, it was the same for me. Don't be afraid to put it on easy, the combat is by far the lesser part of this game and it would be a shame to miss everything else because of it. Stagger grants your attacks a chance to stun your enemies. The chance is determined by the value of your Stagger statistic. However, as you gain levels and your enemies become tougher, you'll need a higher Stagger score to have the same chance to stun an enemy. Stamina represents your ability to survive wounds and injuries. As you equip weapons.

How to Fight Grave Hags
How to Fight
The best way to deal with Grave Hags is to stagger or stun them and use those openings to attack them. You can do this by casting the Aard Sign or the Axii Sign to temporarily stop them and use that opening to attack. You can also cast the Yrden Sign and fight around the Yrden trap or drink a Black Blood Potion to slow down its relentless attacks.
It is also possible to counter the tongue lash of the Grave Hag in order to sever its tongue.
What Preparations to Make?
You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Necrophage oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare a Black Blood Potion incase you are having trouble dealing with the Grave Hag's relentless attacks.
